LG launches an HDTV with a Skype client built-in

We must be one of the UK’s top sources for LG news by now. Thanks to lovely photo opportunities like this, for a telly that does Skype. Probably via Java, but that’s literally just a guess.

LG-HDTV-Skype 1

This is the MOST UNREALISTIC depiction of internet chat EVER. If you look like that you don’t sit around on the internet talking about, you’re in your local pub doing it.

LG-HDTV-Skype 2

She’s exaggerating the point. The point is meant to highlight the product’s features, but in this case, is so exaggerated we’re focusing on the point itself. And the minuscule bit of cleavage on the one in black. That’s got to be one of the world’s smallest cleavages.

Three men were on hand to stop everything breaking and ending up on the wrong channel.

Bye, Michael! You can start moving your face again, now.

LG reveals Blu-ray player with wi-fi, YouTube playback, Netflix and more

All of those above facts we have learned from looking at the logos present in the photograph below! We won’t let foreign-language press extranets foil our plans to occasionally put some facts on the internet.

The LG Blu-ray player will also be available in “Piano Black” a photographic source has revealed to Extra-Last. And there’s two new ones. One’s a bit chunkier.

Here she is, doing her relaxed face. She has her hands where we can see them, just like we told her.

And here she is again, straining a little. How we like to see them straining a little!

Two LG TV-based products and a lady’s calf muscles

The problem with our new-found high-resolution LG press photography resource is it’s all in Korean, meaning it’s often hard to even get a model number out of the sea of squirly bits and smiley faces they use instead of words.

lg portable dvd player 1

Fortunately, we are very experienced in the tech world, having worked as a low-level “blogger” on a “tech blog” for nearly 18 months – and can therefore easily tell that’s a MOBILE PHONE she is holding, along with a MOBILE BROADCAST PORTABLE DVD PLAYER. Which must be a DVD player able to stream video through a phone network, right?

lg portable dvd player 2

It’s odd that her calves are the same size as her thighs, isn’t it? She must have an extremely specific workout regime, which we would like to observe through a one-way mirror.

The exciting and glamorous world of… PRINTERS!

PRINTER PHOTOGRAPHY, with KNEES.

lg-wifi-printer 2

It is a printer party. We are, as ever, not invited.

lg-wifi-printer 3

Can’t work out the model name or number, as the site was all in the overseas language of squiggles. But look, there’s a wi-fi logo on the case. That’s a fact for you to take away with you. They do wi-fi printers now.

lg-wifi-printer 1

Oh look. It’s a LIP3320. And there’s a card reader on it. This has now been the most factual update since that one in 2007 about the Samsung 32WD4560′s inclusion of a hole for the power lead to go in.

LG’s 3D TV tricks demo ladies

Oh yes indeedy diddly doo dah, we have found an exciting new resource for lady-based product demonstration photography. It’s only for LG products, but, on the basis of what we’ve found so far, that is OK by us.

Here’s LG’s new 3D TV, along with the two different types of 3D glasses LG will be bringing to market – retro angular (left) and retro modern.

So far, the demo ladies have been kept entertained for 14 consecutive hours..

PROMOTIONAL CHRISTMAS: LG’s festive spread

Here’s a woman with some LG things. They might be phones, or MP3 players, or cameras. No idea these days. The model names seem to be Cooky, Show, KP500, KP502 and more. It all means nothing. Nothing means anything.

We’ve just been told that some new types of phone also function as MP3 players, so there’s a chance this might be some sort of new combination device. We’ll update you on this as it breaks.

Product display disaster for Sony Ericsson

The embattled mobile company will not be gaining any ground on its competitors after this, a pair of terrible launch shots issued to promote its Xperia X2 – a mobile phone which isn’t an iPhone and is by Sony Ericsson so therefore hasn’t got much of a chance.

Brent-Hoberman-1

It’s not unfair to say this is the worst product display we have ever seen. Most glaringly of all, they have used a MAN, a man who really isn’t sure what to do with that troublesome unused left arm. A man called Brent. A man who hasn’t developed a non-goofy smile.

We understand that Maria Sharapova isn’t always going to be available, but surely some of the lesser-known lady players outside of the pro tour top 20 would be able to make it at short notice?

Internet Entrepreneur launches the new Sony Ericsson XPERIA(tm) X2, only on Vodafone

Brent Hoberman joined a host of VIP guests at iconic London venue, the Design Museum, to launch the multimedia Sony Ericsson XPERIA(tm) X2, available exclusively in the UK on Vodafone.

Created for individuals that like to blur the boundaries between work and play, the launch event provided the perfect platform to introduce the new Sony Ericsson XPERIA(tm) X2.

Whilst at the launch Brent Hoberman commented: “When travelling for work or pleasure, receiving up to date news, pictures and messages from home is crucial. With a young family and busy career, it’s great never to miss a moment”.

David Hilton, Marketing Director, Sony Ericsson UK & Ireland said “We’re delighted Brent was able to join us at the launch of the XPERIA(tm) X2. In the fast moving world we live in, the need to stay connected has never been so important; and the XPERIA(tm) X2 allows you to do just that – managing your life from work, to home, to play, all on one device.”

Debuting Windows(r) 6.5, the device offers 24/7 communication enabling users to instantly synchronise their mail, calendar and media. The XPERIA(tm) X2 also includes a slide out full QWERTY keyboard, as well as a unique SlideView feature, which provides easy access to frequently used phone activities. Coupled with an 8.1 megapixel camera, 3.2 inch full touchscreen with DVD quality playback, there are also a host of preloaded XPERIA(tm) panels such as Google(tm) and Windows Live(tm).

Li-Yin uses hand as safety net

She’ll be marked down very harshly for this. The new rules regarding difficulty introduced this season will force the judges to deduct as as many as 3.0 points from her overall score.

On the positive side, it looks like she’s attempting to win it by performing an ‘Accidental Tits Pop-Out’. A great move, always popular with the judges, but very tough to make it appear to be a genuine accident.

motorola-shitmobile

She’s also got it the wrong way round. It looks so easy to us at home, but under the pressure of that studio it’s all too easy to make mistakes.

Attention Asian/feet/suction specialists

Here’s an update that takes care of all three niches.

samsung-tango-robot-vacuum

It – and by “it” we mean the robot vacuum cleaner – is Samsung’s “Tango” robot vacuum cleaner that now has a better camera in it. Or something like that. Didn’t really bother reading what Engadget said as we were suddenly in a bit of a rush to dig the high-res original photograph out of some god forsaken Korean tech blog.

Yu-Jun Lin, Queen of The Horizontal

Young Miss Lin pulled off a near-perfect horizontal hold at LG’s “Think, Innovate… LG 2009″ trade show over the weekend, stunning attendees with her inate sense of the horizontal.

Opting for the extremely hard left-edge hold, Miss Lin managed to display the sponsor’s sign at 99.8% true horizontal.

The lady on the left is extremely out of shape – and she’s got a much easier sign.
