Blimey, that's one for the grandchildren.

I've sort of semi-removed it. There's still a box behind the glove compartment that I'm too scared to unhook, and the microphone wire disappears into the ceiling bit, so I may need to prise that away to remove it cleanly. Or I may just cut the wire off and keep pulling it from the other end. Ah, the possibilities are endless.

I think the face is brilliant, much better than any dashboard face that's come before. I can imagine that face belonging to a spindly body with long arms that wants to hug me, like some kind of friendly spirit that looks after the animals of the forest. And I want to be hugged by it. In fact, I like it so much that I'm seriously considering cutting my car's mic out and turning it into the spindly man with the long arms. I've a terribly feeling mine may not look as friendly, though. Then I'll be upset.

A Nokia car phone kit caused my Dad's car to catch fire, back in the days when everything was rubbish. After the fire was put out, the insurace people specifically blamed the Nokia hand-free kit.

Belated war with Nokia? Anyone?

I've got one of those. It's from the Nokia car kit thing which I sort of removed. I think it's the microphone, or it might be the aerial. Pretty sure it's the microphone, though. But it might just be the aerial.
