Google Chrome now available for Mac
It says (BETA) after the file name, so it probably won’t work properly and will be missing loads of features. Which will make Mac users feel instantly at home.

That was a joke about web browsers

Didn’t know you were a Mac user. Becoming a student who is also a DJ?

I’m not a Mac user, I now have a new Samsung NC20 for away missions.

—-3rd attempt to post—-
Nope. Still no good, still not getting post posted. Last try before this all gets completely unreadable. Not that it was particularly interesting anyway, I’m definitely getting the feeling all this trouble really isn’t worth it.
—–Below is 2nd post attempt—-
Hmmm, now what happened to that post? I clicked ‘leave comment’ and it all went blank and Idiot’s post appeared instead. Most odd.
No doubt I’ll hit ‘leave comment’ again now and get 2 posts. Ah well.
—–Below is first post attempt—-
Oooh! Ooh! D’you know if it’ll run on the G3 iMac I’m currently using as a doorstop? Maybe if I can get a modern browser to work on the bloody thing it’ll be of some use…
Couldn’t tell you what OS it’s got though. Some version of osx. 10 point something or other – Ocelot? Weasel? Capybara?
December 9th, 2009 on 1:51 pm
Bah. I cannot seem to post. Have I been blacklisted?

You were getting spam-filtered again. Something in your message must sound like a pharmaceutical product and you’re getting rounded up with the VIAGRA vendors.
December 9th, 2009 on 2:18 pm
Doorstop? Bloody? Capybara?
December 9th, 2009 on 2:22 pm
I can’t post either.
December 9th, 2009 on 2:29 pm
oh, wait, hold it, nope. Still can’t post.
December 9th, 2009 on 2:35 pm
Try including the words doorstop, bloody or capybara, that seems to do it. Certainly did for my last post anyway.
December 9th, 2009 on 2:40 pm
Try adding the following words – doorstop or capybara
That seems to stop posts getting through. Does for me anyway.
December 9th, 2009 on 2:41 pm
Try including the word capybara, that seems to do it for me.
December 9th, 2009 on 2:42 pm
Oh, maybe not capybara. Maybe it was doorstop.
December 9th, 2009 on 2:42 pm
Nope, it’s “doorstop”
December 9th, 2009 on 2:43 pm
Hmm. Not capaybara.
Try Door Stop as one word, think that might be it.
December 9th, 2009 on 3:06 pm
Doorstop
December 9th, 2009 on 3:25 pm
Yes, the word was… Doorstop.
The word “doors” was in the spam filter for some reason.
Shall I do another word for tomorrow? This could be the new Countdown.

Bagsy Rachel. You can have Jeff.
Oh, and thanks for unblocking all the posts I made too, thus exposing just how much time I’ve wasted trying to work out which word it was when I should have been setting up AV repositories…

Would.

GigerPunk makes me laugh.
December 9th, 2009 on 9:24 pm
Thanks MickeyP, although now I’m concerned that I have no real idea whether that’s laughing with or at…
December 10th, 2009 on 2:22 am
Faucet? Nope.
Spigot? Not that either.
