*Jingle* Promotional Image of the Weeeek

This is from Cranswick PLC, a supplier of pork products. We were taken by the way its “cooked meat” is prepared in an unmarked facility.

If you have access to the sort of amounts of free time that we have access to, the Cranswick PLC 2009 Interim Accounts PDF is full of some lovely photographs of pork products.

There’s a dodgy one on page 20 of the PDF where they’ve just put some sausages on top of some salad as if putting sausages on salad equals healthy and exotic, but the rest all look very appetising.

Jessops again, this time with the Fuji Finepix F72EXR

Seems to be a proper exclusive. Looks OK. Still not worth walking on a high street and then going into a shop with OTHER PEOPLE IN IT for, though.

It arrived in the email this morning. This means we don’t have to check if it’s new or not. It’s Easy Functional Update Friday.

Jessops announces the launch of the new and exclusive, ultra intelligent Fuji Finepix F72EXR camera

Leicester, 9th October, 2009:

Jessops, the UK’s leading photographic retailer has today announced the launch of the new and exclusive to Jessops Fuji Finepix F72EXR camera. The Fuji F72EXR is a 10 megapixel, 10x optical zoom camera featuring Fuji’s intelligent EXR technology. Fuji’s EXR technology has been previously featured in the award winning F200EXR, and uses the sensor in three different ways to optimise resolution, dynamic range or low-light performance. This ensures advanced reproduction in imaging with exceptionally balanced quality – creating amazing pictures. This combination of cutting-edge technology encased within a pocket sized digital compact body means that advanced amateur photographers through to professionals will be able to take breathtaking pictures in the most challenging of conditions.

Housed in an attractive metal black body the Fuji F72EXR has both style and excellent functionality. The Fuji’s EXR Auto technology not only automatically recognises scenes and selects the ideal shooting mode; it also sets the sensor to optimise shooting. In EXR Mode, the photographer can choose which sensor setting is preferable for the subject to be photographed by choosing High Resolution Priority (HR) to maximise resolution, High ISO and Low Noise Priority (SN) for high quality low-light work or D-Range Priority (DR) for the best detail with contrast subjects.

Samsung presents… Kim & Josh

Samsung has raised the publicity bar.

This is Kim & Josh. They are a fictional couple brought to life by Samsung, in order to promote its WB500 and WB550 digital cameras.

Basically, the pretend couple went on a very real trip to Beijing, then dumped all the photos on Flickr – as if they are a real couple.

There are more of Kim than of Josh. This is the sort of thing you will find on Kim & Josh’s Flickr page. Aren’t they so pretending to be lovely and so pretending to be in love?

This isn’t exactly a devastating exclusive that’s going to bring Samsung to its knees. It’s just something we found while being very bored and looking for promotional photographs. It’s probably just what people in the industry call an “advert”.

It’s also quite a good way to get lots of real-world photo samples “out there” – although Googling for “Josh & Kim” makes it pretty clear that no one noticed. You end up looking at lots of other, less attractive pairings of Joshes and Kims.

Wonder if they had sex? Probably. He probably said “We might as well, we’re of similar attractiveness levels” and she probably agreed. They shouldn’t have used this picture. Poor low-light performance.

Interead COOL-ER Reader and GLIMPSE OF THIGH

Phew-ee! Before the internet came along, this would’ve been enough to attempt a full solitary manual relief over. Imagine the thrill of downloading this on a modem in 1995 – where’s the hemline? Higher… higher… higher…

Putting two and two together, there’s small chance that thigh belongs to this lady.

If you’ve got a shit blog about SEGA, here’s something to put on it tomorrow you LOSER.

Say something funny about this, Mr SEGA LOSER.

Tomorrow’s going to be rubbish. It’ll loop. It’s bound to loop. It’ll loop, right? And did anyone catch Miss 20:20? Wow.

The wind-up battery. Possibly the greatest innovation in battery design since a very bored man first stuck a piece of wire into a lemon.

Sadly the battery is indeed a wind-up – it’s only a concept. It will not be available at Maplins in time for Christmas. More proper design nonsense probably made by an art student here.

LIVE BREAKING NEWS: Miss 12:10 is sad

She’s either been told she’s not getting paid for this or has realised the photos might end up on the internet. Or the photographer’s just asked her if she’s ever considered glamour modelling.

Certainly makes formulating fantasy scenarios involving love letters a bit easier when you know what their handwriting looks like.

LIVE BLOG: Bijin-Tokei, AKA the Japanese Lady Clock

It only updates once every minute, but even a Japanese Lady Clock tells the right time once a minute.

If your workplace blocks internet TV services or most common types of pornography, this is a very good replacement.

We only ever glance at the TV once a minute nowadays, thanks to 24/7 ALWAYS ON INTERNET HELL.

“It’s a clock. It’s probably the best clock in the world. I can’t stop watching it. I’m not getting much work done” – Darrell.

See how early we get out of bed for YOUR entertainment?

You’re probably wondering if we could keep this up all day.

Probably could if challenged or forced.

But will stop soon.

Will be back after midnight tonight to see if it gets any spicier.

UP! hold it UP!

Thanks. Now change into something a little more serious and businesslike and grow your hair at the front.

“The photos can be saved in your photographic library. By doing so, it is possible to gaze at your favorite woman at any time”.

Here’s a link to the iPhone app, so the makers don’t mind the way we’ve ‘exported’ a good ten minutes of its content. See you same time tomorrow, ladies.
