Be glad you are not in America with Google Maps Navigator
Google is going to make lots of satnav companies and their shareholders very, very angry and quite significantly poorer with this – its free GPS navigation software, which will arrive as part of Android v2.0. That’s the news bit out of the way for today.
Real-time overlaid geo-tagged data will let you know which of these drivers has a gun and a criminal record.
You don’t really need satnav when your roads are just squares.

The app might be free but you have to download all the map data on the go. Save on the app, pay times 100 to the phone company.

Will there be a print version soon available?

It’s not my imagination is it? That first pic IS advising you to drive into the wall on the right before the junction/off-ramp, yes?
(Also through a car too, but I’m assuming that will have moved out of the way. Walls, on the other hand, tend not to do that too much, I believe)
So, looks to me like free satnav’s about as good as the stuff you’re supposed to pay for. Well done Google, now how about making it good?
