*Jingle* Promotional Image of the Weeeek
This is from Cranswick PLC, a supplier of pork products. We were taken by the way its “cooked meat” is prepared in an unmarked facility.
If you have access to the sort of amounts of free time that we have access to, the Cranswick PLC 2009 Interim Accounts PDF is full of some lovely photographs of pork products.
There’s a dodgy one on page 20 of the PDF where they’ve just put some sausages on top of some salad as if putting sausages on salad equals healthy and exotic, but the rest all look very appetising.

That “salad” looks like leeks and some sort of cabbage thing. Obviously, fried egg, beans, and chips would be better, but it still looks tasty.
Wish we could get real sausages in the country I live in.

I just noticed that they support “blues skies in pork production”.

The cabbage:potato ratio is all wrong. If you’re having roasted new potatoes, there should be at least 5 per serving. Unless there’s a couple of spuds hidden on the far right in the corner of the plate.
And another thing… plates with corners? Leave that shit to Torode and Worral-Thomson. Round plates all the way at lard mansions.
There’s an awful lot of mustard on that cabbage. I’d probably sick up if I ate all that.

That dish needs mash. New potatoes are only acceptable when served with 50% of their mass in butter on top of them, otherwise they’re right in the middle of Dry, Boring City. And that much butter is not acceptable. So mash. BRING ON THE MASH.
My Coronation Chicken sandwich seems even further below par after looking at those sausages though. Mmmmm happy luchtime me

Funnily enough, I have pork and stuffing sandwiches today, finishing off yesterdays roast dinner.
Yum yum yum.

I want one of those in me right now as they look delicious and I’m hungry!

I have one of those in me right now. It’s making sitting quite uncomfortable. You can have mine if you want.

Why have the sausages been lubed up?
October 15th, 2009 on 11:33 pm
For easy insertion, obviously.
Why else would you lube up a roughly penis-sized piece of meat?
Cuh, some people. No common sense whatsoever.
(feeling somewhat uncomfortable about the words ‘roughly’ and ‘penis’ up there, mind. That’s more a ukpforum thing isn’t it?)

Now this is just odd, I could’ve sworn I’d made a comment here last night. Dunno what’s more worrying – dreaming I’m making posts here or…or…dunno what would be more worrying, actually.
Anyway, as I’m sure I tried to say last night, why have the sausages been lubed up?
For easy insertion, obviously.
Cuh. No common sense, some people. I mean, why else would you lubricate a roughly penis-sized piece of meat?
Note to self, try eating more cheese before bedtime in the hope your dreams are funniner/more entertaining and less sad/worrying.
Still fairly uncomfortable with the proximity of the words ‘roughly and ‘penis’ up there, mind.
