I presume the kids will get a hold of this and then proceed to bust out 360s and backflips making guys like me who thought was just cool to ride around look pitiful.

It’s happened before. Bicycles, skateboards, surfboards, rollerblades, office chairs, sofa, etc.

I’ve pre-ordered one of these.

Of course, I stopped reading the press release half way thru the first paragraph when I got to the “…a compact experimental device that fits comfortably between the rider’s legs,” part.

If it wasn’t for the fact I’d already seen these gliding around suspiciously smooth floors on the bbc website last week I’d say it was a camera trick and they’re actually teeny tiny ladies sitting on some kind of usb drive.

Oh yes, and obviously would (try to convince them to balance on something else for a much less smooth and far shorter ride)

And just imagine if they were teeny-tiny ladies…think of the Gulliver’s travels porn possibilities
