Damn, forgot putting things in greater than/less than brackets meant they disappeared, please add the following word to the comment above, just before the mysterious ? all by itself in the list.

[Chillstation]

Hmmm, doesn't look as good as with the greater than/less than ones.
Wasn't really worth the effort, was it? Ah well.

I'd say either some kind of ice cube dispenser or bottle cooler, both of which are completely pointless additions to a fridge, unnecessarily taking up space that could be used for storing food. That IS what a fridge is for isn't it? Keeping food fresh? If needed, bottles can go in the door or lie down on the bottom shelf and ice cubes come from the freezer, not the fridge....

The way things are going I wouldn't be suprised when one arrives with a laptop docking bay and walkman hookup. And why not an sd card (sorry, memory stick with sony isn't it?) slot for a built-in digital photo frame on the front of the door while you'er at it?
quite like the toaster idea though, having only just gone out and bought a new one...
But yeah, the name sony 3900 just isn't 'aspirational' enough...How about:
The Sony frigid SF1?
?
Sony PolarCase?
Sony Freezicle? Sorry, Frzicl

no, no. This is the Sony 3900 fridge, featuring a laptop dock and walkman dock. Think of it as insurance your laptop won't burst into flames.

Fine, you got me. What was the give-away? Sony naming something a simplistic 3900?

It's a toaster. Every new fridge should have one, fridge-toasters are extremely useful.

As the toasting element heats up the refrigerant compressor works harder and harder, the toasting element doubles it's efforts, the compressor hits 12,000 rpm, the entire ensemble costs £5.67 per minute to run, your electricity meter disc comes off it's axle and ricochets around your cellar, and before the toast is ready evrything catches fire.
