One for batteries which were freshly charged, one for slightly used, and one for dead or definitely in need of charging?

Also they would need to be modular, as there's NO WAY that I would ever need that many C or D cells (current numbers needed: 0 and 0 respectively) so wouldn't want this weird plastic board with holes in it sitting around attached to my actual battery storage, but looking stupid.

I will stick to a box for charged and a box for needs-charging, at least until I get even more fastidious.

You change the batteries when the thing stops working. If they're rechargable then you recharge them, if they're not then you dispose of them in a fire or something, you don't keep them in a Battery Organiser. I like batteries but this item is just WAY OUT THERE MAN. And it has no discernable face. 2.6/10
